He was a member of the Kapoor family, one of the most well-known and respected families in Indian cinema, and went by the nickname Chimpu. Rajiv had his early education in Mumbai and began his movie career with the film “Ek Jaan Hain Hum” in 1983, playing the main role of Vikram Saxena.
