Prakash Raj Wiki: Prakash Raj, also known by his given name Prakash Rai, is a well-known Indian actor, politician, director, producer, and television producer. He is best known for his work in the Hindi and South Indian film industries. When he joined Kalakshetra in Bengaluru at the beginning of his career, he participated in 300 consecutive theatrical performances.
He has since performed in 2,000 street theater performances. Prakash Raj was born into a lower middle-class household on March 26, 1965, in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He spent some time working in Kannada television and film before making his debut in the Tamil film business with K. Balachander’s Duet (1994). With the Doordarshan dramas Bisilu Kudure and Guddada Bhootha, Prakash launched his television career. In the 1990 Kannada film Muthina Haara, where he played the role of Jai Singh, he made his acting debut. After contributing to Kannada serials and movies, Prakash made his Tamil cinema debut in 1994 with Balachandra’s Duet. At the box office, the film was a huge box office success. In the English film Tropical Heat from earlier in 1993, he made his Hollywood debut as a police officer.
